February 11 - 1936 NZ Universities v All Kansai XV
Despite playing two days before and then travelling the following day the Universities were relatively untroubled to record another win, this time 23 – 8 against All Kansai Student XV.

11/2 /36
Morning very dull – snow threatening.
Afternoon- match vs Kansai Universities on the Hanazona ground which was in excellent condition. We played a very half-hearted game due mainly to tiredness after strenuous test match on Sunday and long trip on Monday. Certainly had much the better of it though and won 23 – 8. Gillies, McAuliffe, Wild and Stace scored. Tricklebank converted all tries and one penalty. He played a very sound game.”
