We left London at 10.30 am, on Monday in a ‘bus for Eton, where we were shown over the school and witnessed an exhibition of the old Eton wall game. After lunch we were conducted over Windsor Castle, which is the largest castle in the world still used by Royalty . Altogether there are 13 acres of buildings. We saw coaches, harness, Ascot carriages, the riding school, and the horses used in the Jubilee celebrations, after which we passed through the various rooms of the Castle.
Back in London, we attended the Streatham Theatre in the evening, and saw a play called ‘‘A Soldier’s Fortune.” The managernent entertained us to supper afterwards with the principals.
